Booking deadlines
The catering calendar fills faster than the restaurant.
Corporate holiday parties (December) should be booked by September. Weekday office lunches (December) by mid-October. Thanksgiving drop-offs close the Saturday before Thanksgiving. Christmas Eve and Christmas Day family dinners close December 15. Easter brunch closes mid-March.

Holiday catering questions.
When should I book holiday catering in Buffalo?
Corporate holiday parties should be booked by September for December dates. Peak weekends (the two Saturdays before Christmas, the Friday before Thanksgiving) book 3–5 months in advance. The Mansard can still often squeeze in weekday corporate lunches and small private parties with 4–6 weeks' notice, but the calendar tightens fast after Halloween.
Do you cater Thanksgiving dinners for drop-off?
Yes. We offer drop-off Thanksgiving menus — turkey, stuffing, mashed potatoes, gravy, sweet potatoes, green bean casserole, and cranberry sauce. Picked up or delivered cold with heating instructions, or delivered hot for same-day serving. Orders close the Saturday before Thanksgiving.
Can you do a corporate holiday party at our office?
Yes. Corporate holiday catering is a significant share of December business. We deliver hot to your office — full buffets with hot entrées, carving stations, bar service with licensed bartenders, and everything between. Starting at $24.95 per person for a full holiday buffet, up to $65 per person for a full-service plated dinner with open bar.
What about New Year's Eve?
New Year's Eve catering books early — October for December 31. We cater corporate late-parties, home parties, and small private events. The restaurant itself also hosts on NYE (reservations required and limited). Ask when you call.
Do you handle allergies and dietary restrictions for holiday parties?
Yes. Gluten-free, vegetarian, vegan, dairy-free, and specific allergen accommodations are standard on every holiday catering menu. Tell us when you book and we'll label individual portions or separate platters so your guests know what's safe.
Can you cater a corporate holiday party for 100+ employees?
Yes. Large corporate holiday parties (100–250 guests) are a regular part of our December schedule. We scale service staff accordingly (typically 1 server per 20 guests for buffet, 1 per 10 for plated), bring full bar service with multiple licensed bartenders, and coordinate load-in with your venue. Typical total cost for a 150-person corporate holiday buffet with beer-and-wine runs $4,000 to $7,500.
Do you do holiday parties at The Mansard's private rooms?
Yes. Our Deck (up to 60 outdoor), Board Room (up to 40 with 85-inch TV), and Round Room (up to 25) host dozens of holiday parties each December. See our private events page for space details. Full-building buyouts for groups up to 125 are available and priced on request.
Can you deliver holiday parties to Buffalo-area businesses?
Yes. Our delivery radius covers Buffalo, Amherst, Williamsville, Cheektowaga, Hamburg, West Seneca, Lancaster, Depew, East Aurora, and Orchard Park. See our service area page for specifics. Free delivery within 15 miles of our Orchard Park kitchen; beyond that there's a $1.50-per-mile travel fee.
What about Hanukkah, Diwali, or non-Christian holiday events?
Yes. The Mansard caters for all winter celebrations — Hanukkah family dinners (we can add latkes, brisket, and traditional sides to any package), Diwali celebrations (can incorporate Indian catering through partner vendors), Kwanzaa gatherings, and secular office holiday parties. Every menu is customizable.
Do you do catered breakfasts for holiday open houses?
Yes. Morning holiday events — office open houses, neighborhood gatherings, family brunches — work well with our Working Breakfast catering ($11.95 per person) or the Easter Brunch menu scaled for smaller holiday events. Delivery starts at 7 AM. 24-hour notice.
Can you host a full-building buyout for a company holiday party?
Yes. For 60–125 guests, The Mansard's full-building buyout combines all three private spaces (Deck, Board Room, Round Room) with the main dining area. Full dinner service, dedicated staff, and a customizable holiday menu with bar service — often more memorable and more cost-effective than renting a hotel ballroom.
